But here's how they turned out, the reason why i had to edit the photos myself was because this was taken by . . . my self timer! It was literally an hour and a half of running back and fourth like a maniac. Now i understand the time and effort spent when Zoe uses self timer for her photos. It's so frustrating at times, when it isn't focused or when it doesn't capture different angles, details, etc. Next time i'll try to take some detail shots and maybe some different angles when i have more time!  On to the look - this isn't really my style, but i wanted to try some layering with denim since a few days ago it started to get pretty chilly here in hong kong. I was once told by a little elf at h&m that there's a hidden rule that is ''you can't layer denim of the same kind/color!'' So here i layered a dark seaweed green sparkled sweater (which you can barely see) and a dark blue denim button up over that and finally a acid wash blue oversized denim jacket paired with black skinny jeans and a pair of greenish blue toms. But  Happy Halloween! Time to go set up candies for the trick-or-treaters later on! Mango Mochi from Hui Lau Shan (a dessert shop in hong kong), they have the best divine mango related oriental desserts in hong kong! (personal preference) Bought it on Sunday after a family day out meaning we went out to lunch together then shopped around in Causeway Bay/Times Square. 2. Bliss a new york based skin care brand recently just opened their first counter/store at Lab Concept (junior line of Lane Crawford). Jasmine, the creator of the hkfashionbloggers group and my blogger mom asked a few bloggers to test out some products from Bliss and get a little hand massage as well. I didn't really had any thing planned that week so i just went and tried out a few products. At the end they also gave me a trial set, which you can see in the photo. My favorite product is the triple oxygen energizing mask, it makes my skin feels so icey and soothing if you get what i mean. 3. As i was shopping at Times Square last weekend, i picked up a super comfortable slim fit knit sweater from Zara. I don't really have anything white, so it was a better alternative to my regular black/bold colors. It's super chic on it's own but it's even better when you layer this bad boy. Also i went to Lane Crawford and picked up these Burgundy wool cotton shearling TOMS. I've recently been really into burgundy, so i decided to choose this one. Mainly because i barely have any burgundy/colored shoes plus it's super warm and fluffy (good for the upcoming windy climate). 4. A candid snap taken by the legendary almighty Natalie a.k.a Natabams of Zoe and I. As you can see the relationship between the slave driver and a slave is pretty chill and relaxed haha (jokes aside). I carried all those things, just so the photographer and the model won't get tired throughout the shoot. Plus i need more practice of this sort of thing to live as an intern in the fashion industry. And it's not like i carried all that myself throughout the WHOLE shoot, it was only when they were shooting and moving locations!! Anywho the shoot was really relaxed, funky, fun and the people was super comfortable to be around with. Plus Zoe got to put out more of her funky side which made the photos even more real and exquisite!    0 comments | Comment SKY HIGH Tuesday, October 23, 2012 Hat + Bag // property of Zoe Top // Local designer Bottom: H&M Shoes: Cos photographed by - Natalie Chyi Have you guys ever had that moment where you saw a photo and you were like ''oh that's the one''.  Well when i saw this photo out of the bunch i just knew this was the one even before it was edited. I usually never do one photo posts, but this photo it's just to amazing to put with any other photo! Anyways for this look i was actually inspired by Zoe's galaxy print dress that she wore in one of her looks [click]. You can also see a bit of her in this photo too (in the background)! The hat and the bag was pretty much last minute, i was wearing it throughout the shoot just because i was to tired to hold it so why not just put it on my head and for the bag well it just adds a nice touch to the overall sky blue look. I really like prints especially with bright colors maybe that's why my eyes were drawn to this top by Asos from Asos, and maybe because it was half off. Nowadays i tend to go to the on-sale section of the Asos website, since they have alot of hidden treasures just waiting for me to click away and get broke. Anyways i decided to pair this eye catching print (that kinda looks like lego prints on top of each other) with a black and grey faux leather motorcycle jacket to give it some chic value to the look but pairing it with a pair of fitted trousers and leather boots. So i guess this look is a mix of funky, chic and smart? Oh and a shout out to Alex and Sarah for recognizing me at a carnival the other day, i felt totally happy after leaving the carnival so thank you! The journey to get to this location was a long and tough one i had to climb around 800 flights of stairs with a suitcase up a super steep hill! So i apologize about my face being red and blushy it was mainly caused by all the walking and panting.
